The coral reefs of Clipperton Island are fascinating to explore. Snorkel or scuba dive through the clear waters and be amazed by the abundance of colorful fish, vibrant coral and other fascinating marine life. The Clipperton Island is situated in a region of the Pacific Ocean known as the Eastern Tropical Pacific (ETP). It is situated at a distance of 870 miles (1400 km) from the west coast of Mexico. The port of San Jose del Cabo, situated at the southernmost extremity of the Baja Peninsula, has been designated as the point of departure for the present expedition.
