One of the most diverse dive destinations on the planet, the Sea of Cortes is home to a variety of marine environments and incredible marine wildlife including whales, sea lions and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From January to April, the region is visited by migrating humpback whales, followed by fin, blue, and sperm whales from April to December. The optimal period for visiting sea lion rookeries is from September to May, avoiding the mating season.
